Bourjorno!
The month of January went by so fast! Wow! One moment its new year’s the next it’s almost February. Well, so far this year has been good to me. I have become more outgoing and welcoming to others, and have adapted to Quebec (it honestly has not been easy).
I have started to cook more meals, I am still baking but I am focusing on learning more types of foods besides the ones the I already eat/know. You know trying to expand my horizons * sigh*
This recipe is easy to make and though it has tuna it doesn’t taste fishy at all. As a person that does not like to eat fish except tuna, this is ideal for me. I have nothing against fish but that fear that I will choke on a fishbone and die (I once saw it in a telenovela when I was 8) keeps me from consuming seafowl.
I have made it two ways and so I included how to make it on the stovetop and in an oven. I personally prefer making on the stovetop because it takes less time because I do not have to preheat the oven (I know lazy of me).
I experiment with this recipe and was proud of how it turned out. I made it for lunch and my family tried it and enjoyed it except my brother. *sigh* Brothers.
The strata is a great choice for brunches, lunches, parties, and picnics.
